The RRC received $1.2M of Neighborhood Stabilization Program funding and will be doing work in the same areas as Environs Residential as well as in other areas. The synergy of the two organizations should prove extremely beneficial to home buyers and should make the rehab process more efficient, hence stretching programs funds to reap the highest neighborhood stabilization benefits. May 25, 2009: Environs Residential Receives Funding Environs Residential was notified in February 2009 that we had been allocated $480,000 of the Georgia Department of Community Affairs (DCA) NSP funding to be distributed to the City of Atlanta. These funds are specifically to be used in census tracks 31 (Reynoldstown, 30316, 30307), 205 (Edgewood, 30317), 206 and 207 (Kirkwood, 30317). After completing the full Request for Proposals issued by the city to qualify for the funds in March, 2009, we received final notification of funding on May 25, 2009.
